  • ITV recruitment team their job is hire new people for ITV they hire people with all different types of experience. Production, finance, HR, marketing how they brand make things enticing, legal team, tech, 
  • had no experience working in an office - they offer apprenticeships
  • Be yourself when applying - be honest. Research role beforehand. Don’t worry about other apprentices because they’re in the same position as you. Do your research for your CV.
  • Various types of apprenticeships - dedicated qualification that runs alongside the apprenticeship that is eqivlient to a university 
  • Technology graduate scheme 
  • Traineeship Scheme 21st February for Journalists working in the newsroom
  • No spelling mistakes or grammatical errors in CV
  • Get others to check as they will see mistakes you won’t 
  • Make sure it is concise and readable
  • Talk about employment and education 
  • Cover letter is tailored to a role
  • Follow company on social media
  • Prep on interview format (is it on zoom or in person is it a group assessment?) if you’re not sure clarify with the employer. Will contain structured questions that you must provide examples for 
  • Have the confidence to apply for the role regardless of media experience 
  • It is possible to change careers 
  • Opportunities for filmmakers 
  • Dramas factual content
  • Budgets are akin to that on a film set
  • Commission department responsible for creative development 
  • Marketing students 
  • Apprenticeships for production
  • Content creation - journalism - broadcasting production for day time production I.e good morning Britain loraine game shows 
  • Oppurnities for script writing
