Progression: Networking: 'A Love Supreme'

Graphic Design Assignment:

As part of my induction I was tasked with a mock brief, as to test my skills thus giving my employer somewhat of an understanding of my capabilities. 'A Love Supreme' is affiliated with 'Merch Bitch', a company which designs merchandise and clothing for 'A Love Supreme', as well as  I have been tasked with designing merchandise for the 'A Love Supreme'.

                             Teenage Fan Club Merchandise Assignment:

I was initially tasked with designing concept pieces for the band, 'Teenage Fanclub'. I had no prior knowledge of this band prior to my assignment - so researched in to the band to better inform my creative process going forward. I figured that the best way to understand the band's current output would be to source an existing digital profile of the band. I looked them up on 'Discogs''Discogs' is a website and online database of music - including commercial releases, the site was originally created with a goal of becoming the largest online database of music. 'Discogs' is owned by 'Zink Media, Inc'. 'Discogs' includes archives of releases in all genres spanning many formats. 'Discogs' contains over 14.2 million releases, by over 7.6 million artists, across over 1.3 million labels. With this in mind I figured this would be a useful platform with reliable sources of information.

With this I had access to several platforms that Teenage Fan Club utilise. Sites such as BandCamp, Facebook, Wikipedia, Twitter, and Instagram. Social media platforms are useful in gauging the current output of the band.
